A recent Netflix survey sent to customer’s hints at the possibility of Netflix streaming coming to the Nintendo Wii. The survey hints at the use of a “Streaming Disc” (a one time fee of $2.99) that Wii owners would use to access Netflix’s library of over “12,000” titles.

Netflix breaks 10 million milestone

Netflix has announced they have successfully broken the 10 million subscriber’s milestone last night. Netflix ended 2008 with approximately 9.4 million subscribers, claiming to have had roughly 600,000 subscribers join the service since the start of 2009.

LG discussed some pretty interesting things at their CES 2009 press event. They showed off their new BD370 Blu-ray player, including announcing new partnerships to bring YouTube and CinemaNow content to LG’s Blu-ray players.

Remember the announcement last month about Netflix streaming coming to select Samsung Blu-ray players? The update has finally arrived!
Dubbed Firmware 2.1, along with bringing support for Netflix VC1-AP HD streaming, the update will also improve compatibility with some movie titles.
