1 Million Wii Owners Embrace Netflix’s “Watch Instantly” Streaming Service

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime in an interview with CNBC has revealed Netflix on the Wii has been accessed by nearly a million consumers.

“What we’ve seen so far is that almost a million consumers have participated in the service and right now everything is going very well.”

Netflix on the Wii launched earlier this year, discs were sent out in limited quantity in March while the full release took place April 12th, 2010. Consumers can access Netflix on their Wii consoles by ordering a disc from Netflix.
