Rumor: Apple Readying Blu-ray Equipped iMacs?

Apple may finally be adopting Blu-ray according to reports from Apple Insider, Apple is apparently prepping iMacs with built in Blu-ray support among other things. The new iMac was finalized in early September and has been in production for approximately 2 weeks in various Taiwanese factories.

Blockbuster Closing Nearly 960 Stores

In a recent SEC filing, Blockbuster has revealed they plan to close up to 960 stores by the end of 2010 with the hopes of becoming more financially stable. Samsung Adds YouTube, Blockbuster, MKV, Support To Blu-ray Players

Samsung has officially added YouTube, Blockbuster, and .MKV/.MP4 support to select Blu-ray players via a free firmware update. Owners of the BD-P1600, BD-P3600, and BD-P4600, are currently eligible for the upgrade, there is currently no word on any of these features coming to other Samsung Blu-ray players.
