A recent Netflix survey sent to customer’s hints at the possibility of Netflix streaming coming to the Nintendo Wii. The survey hints at the use of a “Streaming Disc” (a one time fee of $2.99) that Wii owners would use to access Netflix’s library of over “12,000” titles.

Keep in mind, this is just a survey question that does not prove the existence of such a service, it is merely something Netflix is pondering. With over 20 million Wii consoles sold in America, it would definitely be a welcome addition.

I have seen another survey with exact same wording except everywhere that it says Wii it says PS3! I would sign up in a heartbeat, but while I understand a Wii needing a “instant streaming disc” why would a PS3? That would be stupid.
@DavidB – You might need a disc if Sony doesn’t want to do a firmware update to support it.
