    Slumdog Millionaire!

I’ve would have said “Gran Torino”. I need me some crotchety old Dirty Harry! However, the high and mighty academy did not see fit to give it a single nomination. I guess I will have to go with “The Wrestler” instead. Probably just a rental, though.

I’ll go with Frost/Nixon since I haven’t see it yet.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I’d rather see this nearly 3 hour movie in the comfort of my own home.

I would like to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in blue ray. For a couple reasons. It is a great movie. Plus i would get to see all 2 and a half plus hours of it in beautiful hd quality that blue ray disc offers. I dont think it can get to much better than that.

Hmm… I’ve already got Wall-E, and I’ve been staying away from theaters for the most part in favor of Netflix for most of the year. The only other Oscar-nominated film I’ve seen is Dark Knight, which I’m not overly anxious to see again, despite it being an excellent movie.

I’m going to have to go with “I don’t know yet”, since I don’t want to blind buy anything.

  16. Jaime Valles on February 11th, 2009 10:57 am

Wall-E. But if it has to be one of the 5 best picture nominees, then probably Benjamin Button.

  17. Roland on February 11th, 2009 10:59 am

Benjamin Button and Slumdog. Oh wait, thats 2.
