New Xbox Experience: Netflix and XBLVM Info

A few screenshots of the Netflix/Xbox Live Video Marketplace functioning under the New Xbox Experience have been released today. Here are some points of interest:

  • Netflix is only available to US members
  • High Resolution Box Art
  • 12,000 Netflix movies from day 1
  • 30,000 HD and standard movies and TV shows will be available in total on day 1

You can sign up for the public preview of the New Xbox Experience.

    Sweet! I’m really looking forward to this. Now I won’t even have to wait for rentals to come in the mail and, along with the shows and movies available on the XBox Live Marketplace, I will have an ever larger pool of titles to choose from.

    I love love this new feature, now I do not have to get up and mail things back to netflix, I can just watch it on my xbox 360. Good move on Microsofts part.
