Netflix: 6% of Subscribers Use Blu-ray

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings revealed today that less than 500,000 (roughly 6%) of Netflix users take advantage of their Blu -ray library.
Speaking during a company earnings call, Mr. Hastings then went on to say he expects this number to rise as Blu-ray adoption increases.
Mr. Hastings also stated interest in bringing more Netflix “Watch now” enabled Blu-ray devices to store shelves as soon as possible, claiming it will be built into “as many Blu-Ray players as possible”.
