New Vudu Endcaps Appear at Best Buy

A few weeks ago Vudu launced their higher quality HDX content. They also announced they would now be carried in all Best Buy retail locations.

This was the big news in our opinion, as getting prime retail space is very important if you plan on expanding your customer base beyond the enthusiast/custom installer market.

Our local Best Buy has the new Vudu end cap setup right between the Sony and Samsung Blu-ray endcaps. One thing that was missing is there was no mention of the new HDX content. This was probably due to the fact the demo box was not connected to the internet, so it has not been updated with new content for awhile.

Vudu is offering a $200 movie credit when you buy the unit at a Best buy retail location. The only catch is, you can’t use the $200 for renting Adult content from the Vudu AVN channel.
