Our friends over at HighDefDiscNews.com have just posted their review of “Iron Man” on Blu-ray. This looks like the first “Must Own” Blu-ray title from the summer blockbuster slate. Here is a snippet from the review:
Once “Stark” has the “Iron Man” outfit on and you’re caught in the midst of the action you’ll really learn to appreciate how good this Hi-Def transfer really is.
If you have not pre-ordered “Iron Man” on Blu-ray yet, Amazon has it for $27.95
Now if we could only convince the guys at HDDN to next day air the disc to FWC headquarters

Thanks Tyler! We definitely recommend this title to your readers. I’ll again say “Iron Man” from Paramount is a MUST-OWN Blu-ray Disc title for sure! Street date is September 30th, place your pre-orders!
I’ve had this Blu-Ray on pre-order as soon as it was listed on Amazon.
Too bad HD DVD didn’t get one more holiday season before getting the ax, because this would have been another excellent exclusive.
@webdev511 –
I guess so, I think we might see it rolling out on CBHD sometime though
Paramount always does a good job on these releases, Transformers and Beowulf on HD DVD/Blu Ray are prime examples of that.
Don’t talk about HD exclusives, and things of that nature – it just stirs up old feelings and nostalgia. I would’ve loved this one in my HD DVD collection though, no doubt.
@Ryan –
Well this IS Format War Central. The US is 125 past then end of the Civil War, yet there are still people that voice resentment over it. I’m pretty sure the fallout of the format war won’t have that kind of staying power. :p
I can’t wait for this to arrive. I’m really looking forward to having another demo disc.
