Amazon is having a one day only sale on the Sony BDP-S300 for $299. The deal also gets you one free Blu-ray movie of your choice out of a list of 11 movies.

We would recomend getting Black Hawk Down, or Casino Royale if you want to show off your new Blu-ray player to your buddies.

    Welcome to last year.

    Only now, it’s 4 fewer movies!

    Seriously, though, it’s a good sign. Hopefully we’ll see actual Profile 2.0 players hit the $300 mark by the end of the year.

    And next year, $200!
