Following initial reports a couple of days ago that Weinstein / Genius had The Mist and 1408 scheduled for Blu-ray release in August and September at DVD Planet, we see a sources today reporting that Weinstein has indeed joined the ranks of Blu-ray studios.

Engadget is reporting that Pioneer has lowered the price of the BDC-S02BKZ Blu-ray Disc Combo in China by 41% , bringing the price down to 999 yuan ($145).

Revenues Up, Market Share Down for Blu-ray Week Ending June 15th

Home Media Magazine is reporting that revenues were up and market share was down a little for the week ending June 15th.
The market share versus DVD reduced to 7% last week, while revenues rose to $12.73M.
