Hollywood Video Selling Off HD DVD Inventory

With Hollywood Video selling off it’s HD DVD rental stock, it appears Blockbuster will be the last place HD DVD owners can rent HD DVD new releases. Hollywood is selling its former rental HD DVDs for $14.99 each, although some people have been able to pick them up 2 for $20 at some locations.
We looked at our local Hollywood and found most of the really good titles already gone (there still were some good titles that we already own), but they did have about 30 titles left. We do wonder how long Blockbuster Online will continue getting new HD DVDs to replace lost/damaged/stolen ones, as their main competitor Netflix has planed a phase out of HD DVD titles.

Welcome to last Friday. All the titles where the price cut makes a big difference are probably gone. Norbit anyone?
Webdev511,
Should we not post news that has only been seen on the forums?
BTW Some people were able to pick up Beowulf for $14.99 at Hollywood today…
Yup, I’m just saying that this has been news on more than a couple of HD DVD fourms hence the likelyhood of a wide selection is low. That said, props for those that got Beowulf, Assassination of Jesse James, The Brave One and Michael Clayton.
I notice 11.95 HD DVDs at Amazon too…
Damn Im actually jealous. If only bluray movies were this cheap!
