Genius Notes Blu-ray Win Clarifies Path Forward

According to Video Business, Genius Products is hinting it will release future titles in Blu-ray Disc.
During a Genius investors’ conference in Dana Point, Calif on Feb. 19, Genius CEO Trevor Drinkwater said "Blu-ray is the last format in, and that has cleared the way for the industry to get aggressive around next generation DVD."
A spokesman for Genius said there weren’t immediate plans for the company to specify its high-definition strategy, and Drinkwater did not detail upcoming Genius high-def releases during his speech.
We do note however that Genius struck a distribution agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment, and that Wrestlemania 24 is already available for pre-order on Blu-ray Disc at Amazon.
Could we be seeing Weinstein releases on Blu-ray soon?
