Planet Earth HD DVD Out Of Print Now?

It looks like the HD DVD version of Planet Earth may now be "Out Of Print." Retailer Amazon.com has no stock of the Planet Earth HD DVD, which might be a sign of the first Warner title that has ran out of existing stock.
The studio has said it will sell remaining copies of its HD DVD releases, but will not replicate additional HD DVDs to replenish inventory.
We would like to know, is the Planet Earth HD DVD still available at your local retailers?
UPDATE: I looks like Amazon has indeed received more stock of the HD DVD version.

Woah! this could be big news. That’s one popular title.
This was probably the number one selling HD title too.

“The studio has said it will sell remaining copies of its HD DVD releases, but will not replicate additional HD DVDs to replenish inventory.”
That’s what Warner said, not BBC who are the ones who get to say whether their titles get released on HD-DVD or not and they have already confirmed in January that they’d still release on HD-DVD.
The fact that Amazon.com also now has stock in shows this title is still easily available.
Just because they sell out of a title doesn’t mean it is out of print, most of the time it’ll mean that there was too high a demand than the retailer expected and they have more on order.
Very sloppy article.
BBC remained neutral last I heard so I’d anticipate all BBC HD DVD movies to continue until something changes.
Yea, BBC said they’d continue to produce HDVD since this was their major sales title. I think BD’s got plenty of good news without this anyway. Perhaps a call to amazon would have been helpful follow up?
Like stated above BBC Warner said they will stay neutral, so I doubt one of their biggest sellers to date will go out of print any time soon.
Yup, BBC has pledged support for both formats until the end of the year at which time they will re-evaluate their stance. As mentioned above Amazon still has them in stock and doesn’t show any signs of discontinuing sales.
Just saw a Discovery commercial for 6 degrees could change the world and although they said also availble on Blu-ray no mention of HD DVD. They did mention Amazon.com and a quick confirms that it is available for pre-order on Blu-ray and DVD, but not HD DVD.
