Best Buy: 20% off HD DVD/Blu-ray Players – Three Days Only!

While Amazon has been leading the pack on the price slashing front, Best Buy is ponying up — if only for a little bit — through an offer exclusive to Reward Zone members only.  The 20% discount they are offering excludes both the PS3 and the HD DVD add-on for the 360, but it seems as though everything else from the top down is fair game.  Chances are most of you already have a player, but if you’re looking to snag a player for less at a B&M store, as opposed to an online retailer, now’s your chance.

The deal appears to be in-store only, and again, it is limited to Reward Zone members.  Kinda makes you think twice about turning down the cashier about their rewards program, doesn’t it?  Of course, it’s probably not too late to join up.  The deal ends next Monday, Jan. 28th.

Are we sure this excludes the PS3? The back of my coupon states that the 360 add-on is excluded, but not the PS3.

Picked up another (my third player) A3, with TMNT and Fast & Furious 3 (both $35) plus I’ll finally get my free discs (bought the first before the disc offer, and the second was open box display unit) in the mail – I was actually planning on buying four of them anyway. The player will be on eBay. Cost: $120.
