Samsung announced today a new Blu-ray Disc Player, the BD-P1500. With a target release in June 2008, the BD-P1500 is a Final Standard Profile player with HDMI 1.3 interface capable of high resolution audio bitstream to you receiver. While the press release makes mention of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD including Master Audio, it is not clear if this player will internally decode these formats or if it is purely bitstream out capable.
