Home Media Magazine is reporting that the Blu-ray Disc title count once again exceeds the HD DVD title count for the first time since Paramount stopped manufacturing Blu-ray titles.
According to The DVD Release Report, the total number of Blu-ray titles for the week ending October 31 is 332, compared to a 328 total for HD DVD.
The number of titles in the pipeline for Blu-ray Disc is 66, compared to only 42 for HD DVD. The estimated end of year totals are 406 Blu-ray titles versus 372 HD DVD titles.
