ceatec-hitachi-100gb-blu-ray-drive.jpgEngadget is reporting that Hitachi is demonstrating a working prototype of the 4 layer single sided 100GB Blu-ray Disc at CEATEC 2007.

The BD camp is also talking 8x drives and 200GB 8 layers discs for the future.

Personally I am looking forward to faster BD writing!
