On September 10th the first 150 people to purchase “The Complete Matrix Trilogy” HD DVD at the flagship HMV store (in the U.K.) will get a free Toshiba HD-E1 HD DVD player. Warner Home Video and Toshiba are teaming up for this special deal to celebrate the U.K. launch of “The Marix Trilogy” on HD DVD.

Wow. Maybe they’ll have something similar over here with the Bourne/Ocean’s/Godfather Trilogy (whenever those come out).
That would give people a huge incentive to buy into HD DVD.
I think it\’s a great deal, much better than the Circuit City $19.99 Matrix Trilogy HD DVD pricing screw up.
