The Man Room is reporting the announcement of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End on Blu-ray Disc for December 4th, making it day and date with the DVD release. Like the other Pirates movies, this release will have a 2 disc release with most of the extras being on the second disc. Retail is expected to be $35.99 and the disc is expected to include BD-J interactive features. While sources conflict, there are indications that this release will also feature 24 bit 7.1 PCM audio.

Does anyone know why Blue Ray releases on Region A (which is defined to cover Japan and all Americas) doesn’t include all the languages spoken in said Region?? The lack of Portuguese in released Pirates of the Caribbean doesn’t fit the purpose of the Region… someone is hitting the head in a wall, I think.
