Great list. Only title I’d change is Flyboys and replace it with The Island (Belgium import). Amazing PQ!
What audio does The Island have on it?
1. The Prestige
2. Apocalypto
3. The Descent
4. Rescue Me
5. Casino Royale
Honorable Mention (non-exclusive)
6. Road Warrior
it is very personal. My list:
- the house of flying daggers
- casino royale
- both “pirates of the caribbean”
- underworld
deadly praying for “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
If you like “The Warriors” you should get the blu ray. For an old movie I think it looks awesome. No grain as far as I can see. Alot better than some of the newer movies
No, no. You guys have the list all wrong. The best 5 movies on Blu-Ray are:
5. Evil Dead 2
4. AC/DC Live at Donnington
3. Starship Troopers
2. David Gilmour: Remember that Night
1. Blade Runner
You buy a new $2500 1080p tv and a $500 blu-ray player for quality and substance, action and adventure, pure realism, beauty and fast and vivid-colored motion and audio. Top 5 in the reason you just can’t watch it in standard 480p anymore.
1. The Fifth Element
2. Blade Runner
3. Pirates Of The Carribean: At World’s End
4. Casino Royale
5. 300
btw, lord of the rings is not coming to blu-ray anytime soon. Peter Jackson’s loyalty is too HD-DVD, hence, King Kong only on hd-dvd. I’m pissed about star wars as well, lucas is saying not coming for years.
hence, King Kong only on hd-dvd
its on HD DVD as it is a universal film
Sorry, but Peter Jackson couldn’t give a toss about HD DVD.
The only format LOTR will be released on in high definition will be Blu-ray.
New Line Cinema is Blu-ray exclusive.
who put those? Casino Royale is the only one I’d consider.
Here’s a list with top 5 I’d like on Blu-Ray
1. La Femme Nikita
2. Brave Heart
3. Full Metal Jacket
4. The Big Blue
5. Total Recall
BEYOND THE VALLEY OF DOLL
DEATH RACE 2000
FASTER, PUSSYCAT, KILL! KILL!
Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens
Wild Gals of the Naked West
people seem to get more ignorant as you scroll down through these comments! hehe
Am I the only one that wasn’t impressed with Casino Royale?
Yes you were the only one not impressed with Casino Royale lol.
