Microsoft Releases Software Update for XBOX360 HD DVD Drive

This morning anyone that owns a XBOX360 HD DVD add-on drive will wake up to a software update available for download via XBOX Live. New features include: DTS and WMA-Pro audio output while playing HD DVD movies, as well as fixing lots of disc playback issues that have plagued lots of users. One thing we wonder is how this may be related to the Matrix coming out next week, since rumor has it using a new AACS revocation list of non-updated XBOX360 drives.
